As a little girl, I spent hours observing my parents carefully tending our plants and trees. They taught me that every form of life is precious and that having an outdoor living space is a true blessing. Their devotion and passion for gardening and landscaping inspired me to create a dreamy little oasis of my own when I bought my house. Read on to find out how I painted a tiny part of my world green.
I Installed Artificial Grass
This was an extremely difficult decision to make, but after much consideration I realized that fake grass is ideal for me. Since my days are filled with time-consuming activities and responsibilities, I decided not to grow real grass for I could easily kill it. Synthetic grass is an amazing choice for gardening enthusiasts who are always on the go because it’s green and soft, but it doesn’t require watering, weeding, mowing, or fertilizing. Plus, artificial grass doesn’t get muddy or rutted.
I Adopted Several Advanced Trees
I opted for mature trees instead of seeds simply because looking after trees that are several years old is much easier than nurturing young seeds or seedlings as well as because advanced trees have everything it takes to play the role of a garden focal point. I purchased two drooping rosebud cherry trees, a flowering plum tree, and a couple of magnolias from an advanced tree nursery. An advanced tree nursery is a place where you can not only find lots of beautiful mature trees, but you can also receive invaluable expert advice from experienced professionals.
I Embraced the Power of Flowers
I believe that a garden without flowers to spice things up with their vibrant colors and heavenly scents is an incomplete one. Since pink roses are one of the most feminine and graceful flowers, I bought a few beautiful rose bushes and planted them near my reclaimed wood garden bench. This dreamy spot has become my favorite place for drinking my morning cup of tea, reading, and relaxing. There’s something about these flowers that instantly soothes my soul and puts me in a romantic mood.
Aside from roses, I planted a number of other gorgeous shrubs in equally adorable pots, including Australian rosemary, Spanish lavender, yucca, and agave. All of these shrubs look great in pots which can be moved around as often as you find it necessary to keep your garden interesting. That’s exactly what I do.
