Smoking is bad, okay? Giving up smoking is a hard process, there’s no denying that. A lot of smokers “quit smoking” all the time, and just a few days after, you see them with a cigarette in their mouth. It’s not like they are unaware of the horrible effects that smoking has on their health, they are, but many of them still find it difficult to quit. This is so due to the addictive effect that nicotine has on our brains and the lack of willpower and character of smokers.

While awareness about the consequences that smoking has on smokers and non-smokers included has grown in recent years, it’s still a troublesome issue in today’s society. Multiple methods are used to treat this addiction: nicotine patches, nicotine gums as well as some additional medications.
